Interactive serves as a convenient, single point of contact
for those concerned with the needs of older adults and their
families. We offer insightful planning and informed decision-making
to older people; adult children of aging parents; and financial,
tax and legal advisors. Our role is to:

opportunities, and dangers associated with aging of family
members.

families in making crucial decisions about their loved one's
home and environment; services and care; and personal legacy.

families to make life decisions that are wise, proactive
and cost effective, before an emergency or sudden event
limits their options and drains their pockets.

Background
Headway
Interactive, LLC is a professional consulting firm based in
Littleton, Colorado. O. Arnold Snyder, principal owner, became
acquainted with the needs of aging parents through the experience
of his own family. One of five adult children, he worked with
his siblings to plan a safe, secure alternative living arrangement
for his parents a dozen years ago. The family navigated through
the unfamiliar terrain of family meetings amid pressing needs
and the uncertainty of future events. After careful consideration,
the family pooled their resources to purchase a modest cottage,
located across the street from one sister. Besides providing
a warm, comfortable home and regular family contact for their
parents, it grew into a family project that drew everyone
closer together. It united the family in a thoughtful plan
of caregiving and service, even though the siblings reside
in four different states. The many small acts of mutual sacrifice
have built a stronger, more loving family.
This
experience demonstrated to our family that long term care
is not necessarily expensive or complicated, though corporate
advertising may imply that it is. It has taught us that the
challenges associated with aging of parents need not tear
families apart, but can instead present a unique opportunity
to draw families closer together. It has shown us that planning
ahead, thoughtful decision-making, and honest communication
can save a great deal money and hardship.
Arnie's
professional background in strategic marketing and business
development is a valuable resource for clients who must make
definite plans for an indefinite future. Our accessible, personalized
services draw upon a quarter-century of experience in developing
and implementing strategies in a complex environment of changing
technology, political and economic volatility, and turbulent
competitive markets. His corporate employment includes Qwest,
Electronic Data Systems and a publicly held dot-com.
Headway
Interactive was established in 1998. Our management consulting
work has aided professional clients to serve the needs of
older people in such areas as charitable gifting and estate
planning; guardianship and conservatorship; and healthcare.
Our personal consulting work has helped individuals and families
to live with a greater degree of freedom and security in later
life. Today the primary focus of Headway Interactive is our
mission to empower older adults to enjoy safe, secure, and
